At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and looking for a Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer to join our UniQue Public Administration and Enterprise Projects team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing applications and implementing new technologies while providing excellent client service.

-   Designing and implementing customer facing solutions for large Private and Public institutions based on Oracle PL/SQL and Java technologies
-   Modernizing, enhancing, supporting and troubleshooting existing custom ORACLE-based applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification, according to customer requirements.
-   Cooperating with customers and the Technical Team in collecting and analyzing customer requirements.
-   Producing ad-hoc and periodic reports based on customer requirements.

## Requirements

Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward.

We would like you to have:

-   University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline from a Greek or foreign institute 
-   Minimum 3 years of experience as PL/SQL developer in Oracle 11g/12c/19c environments 
-   Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.  
-   Good understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and data modeling concepts.  
-   Hands-on experience in Oracle Developer Tools (TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer) 
-   Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.  
-   Experience in writing complex SQL queries, joins, views, cursors, and performance tuning.  
-   Familiarity with query optimization and troubleshooting database performance issues.  
-   Knowledge of ETL processes, data migration, and batch processing.  
-   Hands-on experience in Jira and version control tools (gitlab).  
-   Hands-on experience in AI tools and in formulating solutions using AI 
-   Understanding Java, javascript technologies (spring, REACT) 
-   Understanding of SDLC methodologies 
-   Ability to work both independently and within multi-disciplined teams 
-   Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. 
-   Excellent use of English language (verbal & written) 

-   Career motivation and a willingness to continue to further knowledge and skills 

Nice to have:  

-   Experience in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) will be highly appreciated. 

-   Past experience in projects developing enterprise applications for large public and private sector institutions.   

-   Certification in Oracle technologies  

-   Knowledge of APIs, integration and data interfaces.
