## Description

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable database solutions using **SAP HANA Cloud SQLScript**.
-   Develop complex stored procedures, table functions, and reusable database objects using procedural SQLScript.
-   Build and manage **multi-container SAP HANA Cloud architecture**, including staging, processing, and target containers.
-   Develop dynamic SQL and parameterized procedures to support flexible business requirements.
-   Optimize SQLScript procedures for high performance using parallel execution techniques.
-   Perform SQL tuning, query optimization, indexing, and table partitioning to improve processing efficiency.
-   Configure and maintain cross-container access using synonyms, grants, roles, and HDI container concepts.
-   Support manual MTAR packaging, deployment, transport management, and environment synchronization.
-   Work closely with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) teams to deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
-   Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize database performance.
-   Participate in code reviews, documentation, and implementation of database development best practices.
-   Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and integration teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

## Requirements

-   6+ years of experience in SAP HANA development.
-   Strong hands-on experience with **SAP HANA Cloud** and/or **SAP HANA On-Premise**.
-   Advanced expertise in **SQLScript** and procedural programming.
-   Experience designing and implementing **multi-container (HDI) SAP HANA Cloud architectures**.
-   Strong understanding of SQL performance tuning, execution plans, and table partitioning.
-   Experience with **Business Application Studio (BAS)** for SAP HANA development.
-   Experience with **manual MTAR deployment** and transport management.
-   Knowledge of JDBC-based data ingestion from SAP and non-SAP data sources.
-   Understanding of **Smart Data Access (SDA)** concepts including DP Agent and Virtual Tables.
-   Experience working with Git or other version control systems.

### Preferred Skills

-   Experience with **SAP Datasphere** integration.
-   Experience with **SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)** reporting.
-   Exposure to **SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)** services.
-   Knowledge of Smart Data Integration (SDI).
-   Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes for SAP BTP applications.
-   Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
