### Job Description

We are looking for an experienced **Automation Tester** with strong expertise in **test automation and banking/financial services applications**. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and join **immediately or within a short notice period**.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for banking applications.
-   Prepare and execute **test scenarios, test cases, regression and integration testing**.
-   Automate functional, regression and end-to-end testing using appropriate automation frameworks.
-   Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
-   Perform **API testing** and validate backend/database data.
-   Identify, document, track and validate defects through closure.
-   Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and other QA teams.
-   Participate in **SIT, UAT and production validation** activities.
-   Ensure test coverage, quality standards and timely delivery.
-   Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.

### Required Skills

-   **10 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.**
-   Strong **Banking / Financial Services domain experience** is mandatory.
-   Hands-on experience with **Selenium / Java / Python** or similar automation tools.
-   Experience in **API testing** using tools such as Postman / REST Assured.
-   Strong knowledge of **SQL and database testing**.
-   Experience with **TestNG / JUnit, Maven** and automation frameworks.
-   Good understanding of **Agile / Scrum methodology**.
-   Experience with **JIRA, Git and CI/CD tools** will be an advantage.
-   Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management and test methodologies.
-   Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

### Candidate Preference

-   **10 years overall QA/Automation experience**
-   **Banking domain experience is mandatory**
-   **Immediate joiner / candidates serving short notice preferred**
-   Candidates who can join immediately will be given priority.
