## Description

**NOTE - This role is a short term contract for 3 months.**

We are looking for an experienced **Senior T24 Tester - Trade Finance** with strong hands-on expertise in **Trade Finance products and Temenos T24**. The ideal candidate should have deep functional knowledge of Trade Finance operations, strong testing experience, and the ability to validate end-to-end transaction processing across portals, workflow systems, and T24.  
**Key Responsibilities**

-   Perform end-to-end functional testing of Trade Finance products and processes, from **customer/product onboarding and setup through transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting**.
-   Test Trade Finance products including **Letters of Credit (LC), LC Drawings, Guarantees, Documentary Collections/Bills, Trade Loans, and Murabaha**.
-   Perform hands-on testing of **Temenos T24 Trade Finance modules**, including LC, Drawings, DC/Bills, and Loans & Deposits (LD).
-   Validate the complete **contract lifecycle**, including creation, authorization, amendments, enquiries, overrides, settlements, and closures.
-   Test **T24 Delivery (DE)** functionality and validate SWIFT message generation and processing.
-   Validate integration between **web/mobile portals, BPM/Workflow engines such as Newgen, and Temenos T24**.
-   Validate T24 back-office processing, including **limits, collateral, charges, commissions, accounting entries, posting restrictions, and COB/EOD processing**.
-   Perform transaction reconciliation and validate **end-of-day balances, transaction histories, accounting entries, and statement generation**.
-   Create and manage **synthetic test data** that accurately represents real-world financial and production scenarios.
-   Validate **SWIFT messages** and ensure compliance with applicable Trade Finance standards and ICC guidelines, including **UCP 600 and URDG 758**.
-   Perform **API testing** using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
-   Validate compliance screening workflows, **RBAC, access controls, and security-related scenarios**.
-   Identify, document, track, and manage defects using **JIRA, ALM, or similar test management tools**.
-   Work closely with business analysts, developers, T24 functional teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure successful testing.
-   Plan and execute multiple testing streams while maintaining quality, timelines, and testing documentation.

## Requirements

-   **6+ years of experience in software testing**, preferably within banking/financial services.
-   Strong **Trade Finance domain expertise** with hands-on experience in:

-   Letters of Credit (LC)
-   LC Drawings
-   Bank Guarantees
-   Documentary Collections / Bills
-   Trade Loans
-   Murabaha

-   Strong hands-on experience with **Temenos T24 Trade Finance modules**.
-   Good understanding of **T24 core concepts**, including limits, collateral, charges, commissions, accounting, posting restrictions, COB/EOD, and reconciliation.
-   Ability to read and interpret **T24 enquiries** to validate back-office results.
-   Strong understanding of **SWIFT messaging standards** and ICC guidelines, particularly **UCP 600 and URDG 758**.
-   Experience testing **portal-to-BPM/Workflow-to-T24 integrations**, preferably with **Newgen**.
-   Hands-on experience with **API testing – Postman/SoapUI**.
-   Experience with **JIRA, ALM, or equivalent test management tools**.
-   Understanding of **RBAC, security testing, and compliance screening workflows**
-   Strong analytical, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred**

-   Experience working on **Trade Finance transformation, migration, or integration projects**.
-   Experience with **T24/Temenos Transact** implementations or upgrades.
-   Banking experience in **UAE/GCC markets**.
-   Immediate availability or ability to join within a short notice period.
