## Role Overview

Unison Group is looking for an experienced **Qlik Architect with strong Banking domain expertise** to design, architect, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale BI and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering dashboards and reporting solutions for banking functions, particularly Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting.

The candidate should have strong expertise in Qlik architecture, data modelling, scripting, security, performance optimization, and large-scale data integration, with the ability to ensure accurate, reliable, and secure reporting across banking systems.

## Mandatory Technical Skills

-   **Qlik Sense:** Strong hands-on expertise in application development, architecture, scripting, set analysis, and data modelling.
-   **Qlik Data Architecture:** QVD layering, incremental loads, data transformation, and production data pipelines.
-   **Security:** Section Access and row-level security implementation across multiple countries, business units, and business segments.
-   **Dashboard Design:** Master measures, dimensions, KPIs, reusable templates, and enterprise dashboard standards.
-   **Performance Optimization:** Qlik reload optimization, application tuning, and efficient handling of large datasets.
-   **Qlik Administration:** QMC, reload scheduling, application management, and ODAG.
-   **SQL & Data Platforms:** Advanced SQL skills with Teradata and Trino/Impala, working with high-volume datasets.
-   **Data Governance:** Reporting metadata management, data reconciliation, documentation, and reporting asset maintenance.
-   **DevOps & Quality:** Git-based version control and automated regression testing for Qlik applications.

## Good-to-Have Skills

-   Experience with Qlik NPrinting for automated report generation and distribution.
-   Familiarity with Qlik Engine API and Capability APIs.
-   Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and other enterprise BI platforms.
-   Experience with enterprise data governance, CI/CD practices, and automated BI deployment pipelines.

## Banking Domain Requirements

-   Experience delivering BI or analytics solutions within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
-   Proven experience building and supporting Qlik Sense applications for banking Compliance, AML, Risk Management, or Regulatory Reporting users.
-   Strong understanding of banking data structures, reporting requirements, and the importance of data accuracy and traceability.
-   Experience reconciling dashboard metrics with underlying source systems and resolving data quality discrepancies.
-   Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders in a regulated banking environment.
