**Required Skills & Experience**

• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL development on AS400 / IBM i platform  
• Experience working with EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) environments  
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and release management processes  
• Hands-on experience with ALDON for application lifecycle management and software deployment  
• Good understanding of SQL and DB2 databases, including query writing and performance optimization  
• Experience in application support, maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting activities  
• Familiarity with JIRA for incident, change, and project tracking  
• Exposure to banking, payments, or financial services applications is highly preferred  
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions  
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop, maintain, and support COBOL-based applications on the AS400 / IBM i platform  
• Participate in application enhancements, bug fixes, and production support activities  
• Manage code promotion and deployment activities using ALDON  
• Work closely with business users, analysts, and technical teams to deliver solutions  
• Perform database-related activities involving DB2 and SQL  
• Support integration activities across enterprise systems and applications  
• Track and manage development tasks, defects, and releases through JIRA  
• Follow DevOps and SDLC best practices to ensure quality and timely delivery  
• Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of production incidents  
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and governance requirements

**Experience Required**

• 6–12 years of relevant AS400 COBOL development experience  
• Banking and Payments domain experience preferred
