## Description

-   Responsible to develop/deliver engineering deliverables for Products Sales, Customer acquisition and Servicing solutions that includes Core Applications (PolisyAsia), Workflow, Middleware Integration with Front End/Mobile applications etc.
-   Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech-Delivery- Leads and other technical team members to define the technical design for Product Launches, Post launch product features build, Enhancements and other new project initiatives
-   Responsible for technical Solution to meet demand.
-   Oversight of Core Application deliverables for Product launches, Post launch features, Servicing and Middleware Integration
-   It is ideal that the role will become one of the SME for Core application (PolisyAsia) related Initiatives.
-   Partnering with business product owners to drive Product & Proposition target or Customer Service deliverables
-   Take in charge technical delivery of assigned tasks / projects. And be able to work independently whilst keep his manager and team fellows updated and connected.
-   Building relationships with Delivery leads, other Engineering team members and business users across the organization. Being able to engage and articulate the technical solution across team is critical to this role.
-   Contributes for the overall Policy Admin System architecture and design, providing best practice guidance and patterns.
-   Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the industry verticals, critical for implementation.
-   Maintaining a complete awareness of the Insurance/Financial Industries latest updates and developments allowing you to support/suggest appropriate solution for user needs
-   Task driven. Be able to control and commit to the agreed timeline.
-   Provide support for production issue investigation and resolution on need basis.

## Requirements

-   Deep understanding of GI Policy admins features and functionalities
-   5 - 7 years Insurance/Financial Industry experience with a minimum of 5 years on Supporting Core Policy Admin systems especially PolisyAsia.
-   knowledge of Surrounding applications like GI Integrations, distribution channels and external parties that GI is commonly integrated with.
-   Good experience in omnichannel Integration
-   Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
-   Knowledge of integrating with other surrounding applications around core applications.
-   Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset paired with strong communication skills.
-   Very good conceptual and analytical skills and a high motivation to define process automation.
-   Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment
-   Experience in application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is an advantage.
-   Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology.
