## Description

-   Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
-   Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
-   Develop automation test scripts using Java and relevant automation frameworks.
-   Create and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
-   Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Karate.
-   Conduct backend and database validation using SQL.
-   Perform mobile and device testing using cloud-based testing platforms.
-   Execute cross-browser testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and other supported browsers.
-   Perform performance testing using JMeter.
-   Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira.
-   Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
-   Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and release activities.
-   Prepare test plans, test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test execution reports.
-   Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
-   Provide daily test execution status and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
-   Support end-to-end testing of payment gateways and banking-related applications where required.

## Requirements

-   4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
-   Strong experience in functional and automation testing.
-   Hands-on experience with Core Java.
-   Experience with BDD-based test automation frameworks.
-   Strong knowledge of XPath and element locators.
-   Experience in API testing using Postman and/or Karate.
-   Experience in SQL and database testing.
-   Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
-   Experience with web, mobile, and backend testing.
-   Knowledge of Jira and TestRail for defect and test management.
-   Experience working with Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
-   Familiarity with IntelliJ, Eclipse, PyCharm, or similar IDEs.
-   Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
-   Experience in cross-browser and end-to-end testing.
