Job Summary

We are looking for a **Technical Business Analyst** with strong experience in **SAP BW, SQL, Python and Power BI**. The role requires a combination of business analysis, data analysis and technical understanding to translate business requirements into effective data and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

-   Gather, analyze and document business requirements related to **data, reporting and analytics**.
-   Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
-   Analyze data from **SAP BW and other SAP/non-SAP data sources**.
-   Develop and execute complex **SQL queries** for data analysis, validation and reconciliation.
-   Use **Python** for data analysis, transformation, validation and automation of reporting/data processes.
-   Develop, enhance and maintain **Power BI dashboards and reports**.
-   Define data mappings, business rules, KPIs and reporting requirements.
-   Perform data profiling, quality checks, reconciliation and root-cause analysis for data issues.
-   Support data extraction, transformation and integration requirements across multiple systems.
-   Validate data products and ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
-   Collaborate with technical teams on data models, ETL processes and reporting solutions.
-   Prepare functional and technical documentation, including BRD, FRD, data mapping and process documentation.
-   Support UAT, defect analysis, issue resolution and production implementation.
-   Present analytical findings and dashboards to business and senior stakeholders.

Required Skills

-   Strong experience as a **Technical Business Analyst / Business Data Analyst**.
-   Hands-on experience with **SAP BW** and SAP data environments.
-   Strong **SQL** skills with experience in complex queries, joins, aggregations and data validation.
-   Good working knowledge of **Python** for data analysis and automation.
-   Strong experience in **Power BI**, including dashboard development, data modelling and DAX.
-   Understanding of **ETL/data pipelines, data warehousing and data modelling**.
-   Experience working with large and complex datasets.
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
-   Ability to translate business requirements into technical/data requirements.
-   Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred

-   Experience with **SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA**.
-   Knowledge of **Power BI DAX, Power Query and data modelling**.
-   Experience with data quality, governance and reconciliation processes.
-   Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data engineering environments.
-   Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
