### **Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Cardlink systems to design, develop, enhance, and maintain payment processing applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mainframe technologies and hands-on experience working with Cardlink for credit/debit card transaction processing.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
-   Work on Cardlink modules for card issuance, authorization, settlement, chargeback, and reconciliation processes.
-   Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
-   Perform system analysis, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and support for production systems.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve application issues within SLA timelines.
-   Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
-   Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
-   Create and maintain technical documentation.
-   Provide production support during business and non-business hours when needed.

### **Required Skills & Experience**

-   **5+ years** of experience in Mainframe development.
-   Strong hands-on skills in **COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM**.
-   Proven working experience with **Cardlink** application modules and payment domain processes.
-   Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards and transaction switching is a plus.
-   Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
-   Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
-   Good communication and problem-solving skills.

### **Preferred Skills**

-   Exposure to other payment systems (Base24, VisionPLUS, FIS, etc.).
-   Knowledge of batch and online transaction processing.
-   Understanding of PCI DSS and other payment security standards.
