## Description

**United Concrete Products Inc.** is a leader in producing over 250 stock items and custom precast concrete solutions for our customers. We are seeking a **Fabrication Welder** to join our fabrication department in Wallingford, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing steel molds for our precast concrete products.

**Schedule**

-   Monday-Friday 6:00 am-4:30 pm Saturday 6:00 am-12:00 pm with overtime as needed

**Job Responsibilities**

-   Interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications
-   Fabricate steel to create molds that will hold concrete to create custom or stock items
-   Set up and operate fabrication and welding equipment
-   Able to work independently with minimum supervision
-   Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

## Requirements

-   3+ years of MIG welding and fabrication (required)
-   Ability to read and understand blueprints
-   Knowledge of measuring tools and product tolerances
-   Attention to detail
-   Reliable transportation
-   Stick welding is a plus to the welder position.
