Location: Smile Fitness Dental Center | Sky Desert Ranch, Phoenix, AZ  
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 4 Days/Week  
Compensation: $50–$55/hour, based on experience

### About the Opportunity

Smile Fitness Dental Center is looking for a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established Phoenix practice. This is a four-day-per-week position, Monday through Thursday, in a PPO and fee-for-service environment.

We’re looking for a hygienist who values patient education, preventative care, and building long-term relationships with patients while working collaboratively with the doctor and clinical team.

### What You’ll Do

-   Provide comprehensive preventative and periodontal hygiene care
-   Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
-   Complete periodontal charting and assess patients' periodontal health
-   Take diagnostic radiographs as needed
-   Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment
-   Identify areas of concern and communicate findings with the doctor
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-   Support an efficient, patient-focused clinical environment
-   Collaborate closely with doctors, dental assistants, and the front office team

### What We’re Looking For

-   Active Arizona Dental Hygienist license in good standing
-   Strong periodontal assessment and clinical hygiene skills
-   Comfortable educating patients and discussing recommended care
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-   Dependable and comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
-   Commitment to providing a positive patient experience

### Schedule

This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position. The practice is open Monday through Thursday, providing a consistent schedule with three-day weekends.

### Compensation & Benefits

-   $50–$55/hour, based on experience

## Requirements

-   Active Dental Hygiene License in New York

-   Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state) 

-   Current CPR/BLS Certification 

-   Strong communication and patient education skills 

-   Commitment to quality patient care 

-   Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment 

**Preferred** 

-   **Laser Certification** 

-   Experience with assisted hygiene models 

-   Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments 

-   Experience with periodontal therapy 

-   Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance 

-   Bilingual skills
