**Registered Dental Hygienist**

**Location:** Absolute Dental | 2450 E Guadalupe Rd Suite 108, Gilbert, AZ 85234

**Schedule:** Flexible schedule, with Mondays required.

**Compensation:** **$50–$55/hour**, based on experience

**Practice:** General Dentistry

Single Column 60 minute regular recall prophy 90 min SRP

**Patient Mix:** PPO & Fee-for-Service

**About the Opportunity**

Absolute Dental is seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona.

We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients.

This opportunity offers scheduling flexibility, with consistent availability on Mondays and Fridays required. Additional days may be available based on practice needs and candidate preferences.

**Responsibilities**

-   Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and preventive treatments.
-   Conduct periodontal assessments, chart findings, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
-   Administer local anesthesia within the scope of Arizona licensure and practice protocols.
-   Obtain dental radiographs in accordance with practice protocols.
-   Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
-   Identify potential oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist.
-   Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to coordinate patient treatment.
-   Maintain compliance with infection control, sterilization, and patient safety standards.
-   Build positive patient relationships through compassionate, professional care.

## Requirements

-   Active Dental Hygiene License in Phoenix, AZ

-   **Local Anesthesia Certification**

-   Current CPR/BLS Certification 

-   Strong communication and patient education skills 

-   Commitment to quality patient care 

-   Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment 

**Preferred** 

-   Experience with assisted hygiene models 
-   Laser Certification

-   Experience in PPO and Fee-for-Service environments 

-   Experience with periodontal therapy 

-   Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance 

-   Bilingual skills
