# Universal Student Fund Careers

>
Universal Student Fund was created for students, by students. Our goal is to reduce the barriers to enjoying college in the United States.

From financial support to building a cohesive social network, we work to identify barriers students face, and to break them down into manageable pieces. This includes:

Providing loans, scholarships and grants to lower the financial burden of college in the U.S.

Working with students on their college application process, to avoid common mistakes

Guiding students through immigration requirements to move abroad

Building a social network for international students studying in the U.S., to facilitate sharing experiences and finding a home away from home

Answering common questions as students move abroad, from how to rent an apartment to setting up a bank account

The number of international students studying in the United States increased by 10% from 2014-15, and this trend is projected to grow exponentially. Each student coming to the United States faces unique challenges: finding the right school, presenting yourself to Admissions Directors, and navigating the complex immigration process, to name a few.

We're here to help. We offer tailored support in three key areas: choosing a university; developing a personal essay and application; and preparing for visa interviews and applications. We are here to understand the legal complexities and cultural expectations so our clients have not only a competitive advantage, but so they feel comfortable transitioning to higher education in the United States.

We support our clients from start to finish, from understanding college application requirements, to finding housing and a social network when they arrive in the United States. We firmly believe that higher education should be accessible to all, and the cost of university should not be a barrier to following your passion.
