## Description

We are hiring **Mechanical Engineers** in LATAM to support U.S.-based engineering projects in a **remote, full-time, long-term contractor** capacity.

This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience in **reverse engineering** and **scan-to-CAD workflows**, working from **3D scan data** to replicate, analyze, and redesign mechanical parts and components.

Most of the work is developed in **SolidWorks**, and the projects typically support industrial and manufacturing applications across different sectors.

### What You’ll Do

-   Develop mechanical models and engineering deliverables based on **3D scan data**
-   Perform **scan-to-CAD** and **reverse engineering** work for existing parts and systems
-   Support dimensional interpretation and validation tasks
-   Collaborate remotely with the engineering team on U.S.-based projects
-   Contribute to mechanical design and engineering tasks as needed

## Requirements

**Mechanical Engineering** background (degree or equivalent experience)

Strong experience in **reverse engineering / scan-to-CAD workflows**

Experience working with **3D scan data**

Advanced proficiency in **SolidWorks** (daily use)

Experience in **industrial and manufacturing environments**

Ability to interpret **GD&T** and dimensional requirements

Previous experience supporting **U.S. clients** or **U.S.-based projects**

Strong communication skills in English

Availability to work **full-time (40 hours/week)** in a remote contractor role
