### Responsibilities

-   Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to job specifications and safety standards.
-   Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine project requirements.
-   Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
-   Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems issues, implementing effective solutions promptly.
-   Collaborate with apprentices and junior electricians to provide guidance and training.
-   Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
-   Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
-   Communicate effectively with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate activities and ensure timely project completion.

## Requirements

-   Valid journeyman electrician license or certification.
-   Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an electrical journeyman in a commercial or industrial setting.
-   Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
-   Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
