## Description

**Position Summary**

The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a positive first impression by welcoming guests into the restaurant, managing reservations and waitlists, seating guests, and providing menus. This role sets the tone for a great dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive.
-   Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient service flow.
-   Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
-   Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entrance.
-   Monitor dining room flow and coordinate with servers to ensure balanced seating.
-   Answer the phone and assist with inquiries, takeout orders, and reservations.
-   Assist with guest needs and address any concerns promptly and courteously.
-   Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
-   Other duties as assigned.

## Requirements

-   Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
