## Description

Valleysoft is a regional IT services provider delivering enterprise technology and business process solutions for clients globally. In this role, you will help shape enterprise data architecture for complex client environments, supporting the design of scalable information assets, stronger governance practices, and more effective use of data across the business. The position plays a central part in connecting architecture, analytics, and operational data needs while partnering closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.

### Responsibilities

-   Build the bank enterprise architecture tool and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts.
-   Maintain and develop data collection, storage, and transfer systems used by the project team.
-   Support the development of advanced data analytics products.
-   Define data architecture and select data collection, storage, and analysis technologies.
-   Monitor data availability, completeness, and quality, including the integration of internal and external data sources and the use of analytical tools.
-   Manage and approve the list of Critical Data Elements (CDEs), including guiding domains on prioritization.
-   Lead business and technical metadata management activities.
-   Establish, monitor, and enforce business processes and standards for metadata management and compliance.
-   Provide technical support to IT teams on data architecture, logical data models, and data strategy across the bank’s systems and applications.
-   Define and maintain logical data models and information assets.
-   Provide templates for structuring business metadata, including business definitions, security and access levels, and data quality rules, as well as technical metadata such as physical data elements and data lineage.
-   Approve changes to metadata and manage new metadata demand.
-   Approve business definitions and data lineage developed by domains.
-   Define metadata standards and ensure compliance.

## Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Eligible to work in Egypt.

Expertise in database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.

Strong knowledge of data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.

Experience with data modeling, data architecture design, and schema development.

Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and processes.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of big data technologies, including Hadoop or Spark.

### Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and developing complex, high-quality analytical solutions.

3+ years of experience in data platform implementation and data architecture.

7+ years of experience in technical and IT roles.

Proven experience designing and implementing data architectures.

Experience working with data governance, data quality, and data security.

Past experience involving data strategy, data integration, and data infrastructure development.

Experience working with business domain owners, enterprise architecture teams, IT leadership, and senior banking stakeholders.

### Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership and project management capabilities.

Background in banking or financial services is preferred.

Familiarity with metadata governance and data lineage is a plus.

Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling is a plus.

TOGAF certification or a similar enterprise architecture certification is preferred.
