We are looking for an experienced **Data Platform Engineer (Cloudera Administrator)** to manage, optimize, and maintain our enterprise data platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and administering Cloudera environments, ensuring platform scalability, high availability, security, and performance while supporting business-critical data workloads.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, implement, and maintain **Cloudera (CDH/CDP)** infrastructure to support enterprise data storage, processing, and analytics.
-   Install, configure, administer, and monitor Cloudera Hadoop clusters using **Cloudera Manager**.
-   Manage Hadoop ecosystem components including **HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, HBase, Spark, and Kafka**.
-   Perform cluster upgrades, patch management, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
-   Implement automation and support **CI/CD pipelines** to improve operational efficiency.
-   Monitor platform health and performance using tools such as **Dynatrace** and **Grafana**.
-   Ensure platform scalability, high availability, and resource optimization.
-   Implement security best practices including **Kerberos, Ranger, and Sentry**.
-   Manage backup, disaster recovery, and data replication strategies.
-   Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform meets business and technical requirements.

### Qualifications & Experience

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
-   **3–5 years** of hands-on experience in **Cloudera Administration** or Data Platform Engineering.
-   Strong experience with **Cloudera CDH/CDP** administration and Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
-   Hands-on experience with **Kubernetes** and containerization technologies.
-   Experience with **Apache Kafka**, streaming platforms, and distributed data systems.
-   Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools such as **Dynatrace** and **Grafana**.
-   Experience implementing **CI/CD automation** and infrastructure best practices.
-   Strong understanding of system performance optimization, scalability, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
-   Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
