# Vallus Careers

> <p>Vallus is an independent home
inspection company, specializing in diagnosing and recommending solutions to
the problems that cause comfort issues and energy inefficiencies in new and
existing homes. Formerly “HomeScan” a sole proprietorship since 2000; We restructured
in 2006 to a corporation (Home Diagnostic Solutions) to better meet the demands
of its growth and business opportunities. HDS recently rebranded becoming
Vallus Energy Consulting. Vallus currently administers Jackson EMC’s “Right
Choice” new home commissioning program and their “Home Performance with Energy
Star” existing home program. HDS is also a consultant / contractor for Georgia
Power’s “Home Performance with Energy Star” program. We also serve independent
contractors and homeowners for their energy testing and consulting needs. We are
based in Lawrenceville, GA and currently cover the Metro Atlanta area and parts
of North Georgia.</p>
