## Description

Aspire USA, LLC d/b/a Gbbis (a Valsoft company), headquartered in Wellsboro, PA, seeks a Managing Director responsible for providing critical operational management to a B2B software business focused on solutions that automate critical operational areas for clients. This is hybrid position; the employee can work from anywhere in the United States but must willing and able to travel to the corporate office in Wellsboro, PA for quarterly meetings. 

**Specific duties include:**

(i) managing  day-to-day operations, including sales performance, opportunity management, forecasting, R&D capacity, and customer support, plus a team of 10+ direct reports;

(ii) developing and implementing a strategic plan across all major business functions, including sales and marketing, R&D, customer service, professional services, and human resources;

(iii) identifying, defining, and executing strategies required to achieve growth plans and operating objectives, with a focus on improving operational excellence;

(iv) assuming full accountability for the business's results;

(v) establishing, implementing, and owning long-range, annual, and quarterly financial and non-financial goals; and

(vi) attending client site visits and promotional events, including but not limited to tradeshows and panels.

## Requirements

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a senior leadership role within the B2B technology, software, or enterprise services industry. 

Must have any experience with each of the following (can be concurrent):

(i) managing teams and overseeing business operations in a software development company;

(ii) developing and executing strategic business plans across multiple functions;

(iii) driving revenue growth and market expansion;

(iv) managing daily operations and improvements in operational excellence, which includes but is not limited to reductions in support tickets, project implementation times, and client churn and increases in year-over-year revenue growth, loyalty metrics such as Net Promoter Scores, and other financial results such as profits and EBITDA targets;

(v) leading and managing cross-functional teams;

(vi) experience managing a company that sells software as a service (SaaS);

(vii) experience developing, understanding, and presenting analytic data models for sales forecasting, revenue projections, sales cannibalization, and optimization algorithms; and (viii) communicating with stakeholders at executive levels on client organization. 

Must also have any knowledge of (from any completed university-level coursework, seminars, workshops, or real-world, hands-on experience) machine learning algorithms in order to direct work of Data Engineers and drive professional services revenue, including selling, scoping, and executing projects for Customer Profiling, Territory Modeling, Site Scoring, Territory Creation, Competitive Analysis, and Mobile Data Analysis. 

Must be willing and able to travel within the U.S. to client sites and industry trade shows, up to 15%.
