**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** IT

## Description

Aspire Software is looking for an IT Specialist to join our team in Lebanon.

**Here is a little window into our company:** Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.

**POSITION DESCRIPTION:**

This role owns the full employee technology lifecycle — from provisioning laptops and accounts for new hires, to day-to-day helpdesk support, to securely decommissioning devices and access when employees leave. The person in this role will work closely with onboarding and offboarding, will serve as the primary point of contact for all end-user IT needs across the company, and will play a key role in helping maintain SOC 2 certification.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Offboarding (HR Systems Support)

- Partner with HR/People Operations on every new hire, transfer, and termination to ensure IT tasks are completed on schedule.
- Create, configure, and deactivate user accounts across company systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Slack, Teams, HRIS-linked tools) as part of onboarding and offboarding.
- For systems managed internally by Dispatch employees, notify the designated internal system owner when an employee is being onboarded or offboarded so access can be added or removed on schedule, and track that each notification is acted on.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date record of who has access to which systems, and audit that terminated employees' access has been fully removed from all systems.
- Coordinate first-day-ready setup for new hires: hardware, accounts, credentials, and a welcome/orientation walkthrough of company systems.

Device & Hardware Lifecycle Management

- Provision laptops and equipment for new hires and as replacement/upgrade needs arise for existing employees.
- Research, recommend, and assist HR/Finance with purchasing laptops and other hardware, including vendor comparisons and quotes.
- Maintain an inventory of company-owned devices, including assignment history, warranty status, and lifecycle/refresh planning.
- Image, configure, and enroll new devices in company device management/MDM tools prior to distribution.
- Manage return, wipe, and redeployment of devices from departing employees.

Helpdesk & End-User Support

- Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT tickets and requests (e.g., WiFi connectivity issues, password resets, account lockouts, hardware/software troubleshooting).
- Triage, track, and resolve tickets in a timely manner, escalating to specialized vendors or Dispatch's engineering team when needed.
- Provide basic training/guidance to employees on company systems and IT best practices.

Security, Patch & Compliance Monitoring

- Monitor company devices for outstanding software/OS updates and push patch notifications to keep all endpoints current.
- Monitor endpoint/device management tools to detect when a company-owned device appears to have become a personal device (e.g., ownership or enrollment status change) and take steps to bring it back into compliance or remove it from company systems.
- Monitor security alerts and triage findings; provide initial incident response support and escalate critical threats to the engineering team as needed.
- Send remote lock or wipe commands to company devices as needed for terminations, lost/stolen equipment, or security incidents.
- Support company security tools already in place (e.g., endpoint protection, password management) and respond to related alerts.

Systems Administration & Vendor Coordination

- Administer and support 20+ business-critical applications, including day-to-day administration, access provisioning, and user support.
- Serve as the point of contact for third-party vendors that support specific systems, ensuring smooth vendor coordination and issue escalation.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, access procedures, and IT processes.

SOC 2 Compliance Support

- Support Dispatch's SOC 2 certification effort by helping implement and document the technical controls auditors expect (access controls, onboarding/offboarding evidence, device encryption and patch status, password/MFA policies, backup and monitoring configurations).
- Own ongoing evidence collection for IT-related controls — access reviews, termination checklists, patch/vulnerability reports, device inventory, and security monitoring logs — and keep it organized for audit periods.
- Partner with leadership, HR, and any outside compliance/audit consultants to close gaps identified during SOC 2 readiness assessments and respond to auditor requests.
- Help maintain IT security policies and procedures (access control, acceptable use, incident response, asset management) required for SOC 2, and keep them current as systems change.
- Conduct periodic access reviews across company systems to confirm permissions match current employment status and role, flagging and remediating discrepancies.
- Support the annual (or ongoing) SOC 2 audit cycle once certified, including recurring evidence requests and control testing.

## Requirements

- Experience in an IT support, systems administration, or helpdesk role, ideally supporting a company of similar size.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint/MDM tools.
- Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes and coordinating access changes across multiple systems and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with password management tools, security awareness platforms, and endpoint protection tools.
- Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar compliance framework, e.g., ISO 27001) readiness or audits, including evidence collection and control documentation — direct SOC 2 audit experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical employees and HR/People Operations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tickets independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: Experience with GDC or other global shared service centers managing end-user IT support across distributed teams.
