## Description

## About T-Innova

T-Innova has built the software that runs sports centers, gyms and clubs in Spain since 1993, from its base in Castelldefels, Barcelona. Deporwin and DeporSite handle memberships, bookings and activities, payments and billing, reception point of sale and the access control at the door for around 300 clients, from single facilities to chains of dozens of centers. T-Innova is part of the Manos Group within Valsoft, a Canadian group that acquires and grows vertical-market software companies, which gives it the backing of a larger group while it runs as a focused, independent product company.

After more than 30 years in this market, T-Innova is building its next product: a new cloud platform, designed agentic-first from day one. The groundwork is done. The existing system has been mapped into a documented catalog of thousands of use cases, and the scope of the first release has been agreed across the company. The new product is built fresh from that catalog. The hard part is the bridge: many clients run customized on-premise installations of today's system, and every one of them has to keep running well until it moves across. We're growing the engineering team to do both.

## The role

You'll own technical delivery at T-Innova: the engineering team, the code, the release discipline and the technical decisions, working within the shared architecture and standards the Manos Group provides across its companies. You'll be hands-on, building with AI coding agents every day, and you'll set the bar the rest of the team learns from.

Two things matter, in this order. First, today's clients never feel the rebuild. Second, the new product ships in steady, usable releases. You'll lead both, and you'll be the person the managing director and the group's technology leadership turn to for a straight answer on where things stand.

## What you'll do

**Lead the team**

•     Lead, mentor and grow the engineering team, including the hiring of new engineers, and build a culture where people own the quality of what they ship.

•     Lead the move to agentic development by working that way in the open: specifications, agent-sized tasks, review and tests, every day.

•     Work with product, professional services, support and the managing director so that technical decisions follow business priorities and how clubs actually use the software.

**Build the new product**

•     Turn agreed use cases into specifications and working, tested software, building end to end with AI coding agents.

•     Shape the technical design with the group's technology leadership: data model, multi-tenant SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations and the agentic features built into the product.

•     Build AI into the product for clients, such as assistants, smart search, forecasting and the automation of routine admin, reliably, cost-aware and with care for client data.

**Keep today's clients running**

•     Own the health of the live platform: a mature estate of Visual Basic 6, .NET Framework services, a PHP web tier and SQL Server databases, much of it running in customized on-premise environments and on Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services.

•     Use agents to read, explain and safely change code nobody has touched in years, and reduce the per-client maintenance burden as you go.

•     Plan how clients move from today's system to the new product, one group at a time, without disrupting the clubs that depend on it.

**Engineering quality**

•     Bring in and own automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and observability, where some of it does not exist yet.

•     Set the standard for code review and release, and decide what must be proven before a change reaches a client.

## What we're looking for

•     At least eight years of professional software development, including at least two years leading engineers or holding technical ownership of a production system that real clients depend on.

•     Demonstrable agentic development: you ship production code with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot agents as your normal way of working, you can show how you specify, steer and verify their work, and you have helped others work the same way.

•     Hands-on experience building AI features into a real product: integrating LLM APIs with prompting, retrieval, evaluation and guardrails.

•     Strong backend skills in at least one modern stack (.NET and C#, Python, Node.js, Go or similar) and in relational databases, including SQL Server design, migrations and performance tuning.

•     Experience with a cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP), automated testing and CI/CD, ideally introduced into a team or codebase that did not have them.

•     The patience and skill to change a mature codebase safely. You do not need to love legacy code. You need to make it behave.

•     Fluent written and spoken English, and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-engineers.

•     Proactive: you spot what needs fixing before anyone asks, propose a solution and follow through.

## Nice to have

•     Spanish (strongly preferred) and Catalan.

•     Multi-tenant SaaS architecture, and moving on-premise clients onto a cloud-hosted product.

•     Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep or similar) and observability tooling.

•     Visual Basic 6, .NET Framework, PHP or Laravel, and Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services environments.

•     Tool integration through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and familiarity with the EU AI Act.

•     Payments, invoicing and Spanish regulatory requirements such as Veri\*Factu, GDPR and the Esquema Nacional de Seguridad (ENS).

•     Sports, fitness, leisure or club management software, membership and booking systems, or access control and IoT hardware.

## How we work

We hire for agentic development first and a tech stack second. AI coding agents do most of the typing, and engineers do the thinking: writing the specification, breaking the work into tasks an agent can carry out, reviewing every change, and proving it works with tests before it ships. The product itself uses agentic AI to take routine work off our clients' hands.

The team sets its own working method. The Manos Group supplies the shared architecture, an engineering standard for product AI and a shared framework for agentic user experiences, so T-Innova builds on what works across the group rather than starting alone.

## Why T-Innova

You'll hold real technical ownership of a product that sports facilities across Spain rely on every day, and you'll define what agentic development looks like at T-Innova, both in the product and in how the team works. You'll build on more than 30 years of market presence and a loyal client base, with the backing of the Manos Group and Valsoft.

## The essentials

**Location:** Remote, working European time zones (a working day that overlaps Central European Time). Occasional travel to the Castelldefels office near Barcelona.

**Language:** Fluent English is required. Spanish is strongly preferred: colleagues and clients are Spanish-speaking.

**Reports to:** Xavi Trallero, Managing Director, T-Innova.

**Employment:** Full time.

## How to apply

Apply through Workable with your CV and, if you can, one example of work you built agentically: the specification you wrote, how you steered the agent, and how you proved the result. A repository, a write-up or a short screen recording all work. Shortlisted candidates do a practical session building a small feature with an AI coding agent, followed by a conversation about how you would lead a team through the same way of working.
