## Description

**Overview of the Role**

The **IT Operations Manager** to lead our IT department and ensure the smooth operation of our organization's technology infrastructure. This resource will have a strong technical background combined with excellent leadership and management skills to effectively oversee a team of IT professionals.

**Main duties include:**

-   Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and other hardware.
-   Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services.
-   Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-   Monitor security systems, including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
-   Analyze security alerts and logs to identify potential security incidents or anomalies.
-   Manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
-   Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
-   Develop and implement incident response procedures to address IT emergencies and minimize downtime.
-   Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure IT equipment and services.
-   Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
-   Proven experience in IT operations management, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role.
-   In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.
-   Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
