**Overview of the Role**  
The **Senior Mortgage Broking Assistant** supports the mortgage broking team by managing complex loan applications and ensuring a smooth and timely process from submission to settlement. This role involves mentoring junior assistants, liaising with clients and lenders, and providing high-level administrative support.

  
**Main duties include:**

-   Coordinate and manage complex loan applications, including document preparation and submission.
-   Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mortgage broking assistants.
-   Maintain communication with clients, lenders, settlement agents, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless loan process.
-   Manage post-settlement client care and follow-ups.
-   Ensure compliance with relevant banking and lending regulations.
-   Update and maintain CRM databases and other record-keeping systems.
-   Assist with process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
-   Proven experience in mortgage broking or a related financial services role, with at least 3 years in a similar position.
-   Demonstrated ability to manage complex mortgage applications from start to finish.
-   Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior staff.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
-   Proficiency with CRM systems such as MyCRM, ApplyOnline, or similar.
-   Knowledge of various lending products including asset finance, cash flow lending, debtor finance, and property finance is preferred.
