As a **Part-Time Transfer Care Specialist** serving our Dugan Funeral Home in Shippensburg and Hoffman Funeral Home in Carlisle, you'll be more than just a driver. You'll be a pillar of support and a beacon of professionalism for families during one of life's most difficult moments.  

**What You'll Do**

-   Perform the removal, care, and transport of decedents with professionalism and integrity
-   Provide transportation to surrounding communities across the Shippensburg and Carlisle areas
-   Safely operate company vehicles for first-call transfers, following all local and state protocols, policies, and procedures
-   Interact with bereaved family members during home transfers with courtesy, compassion, and care
-   Maintain clean, professional company vehicles at all times
-   Represent Vertin by adhering to company dress code and standards

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent
-   Ability to climb stairs and lift over 50 pounds
-   Ability to roll/move 200 pounds
-   Availability to work nights, weekends, and on-call hours
-   Basic computer skills
