**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations leader to provide senior-level direction and oversight across the Los Angeles market. In this critical role, you will partner closely with Operations Manager(s) to jointly drive market performance across safety, productivity, customer service, and cost and labor efficiency, while maintaining ultimate accountability for the market’s operational and financial results. You will serve as the primary liaison between the Los Angeles market and the Regional Director of Operations, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment on business priorities, operational performance, and strategic initiatives. By providing strong leadership across multiple facilities and locations, fostering operational excellence, and driving accountability at every level, you will ensure the LA market consistently delivers on its financial, service, and operational objectives.

**Compensation:** The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$130,000–$140,000 per year**, plus eligibility for a **quarterly bonus**. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- Serve as the single point of accountability for Operations performance across the entire LA market — including all facilities/locations — partnering with the Operations Manager(s) to set and achieve safety, productivity, customer service, and cost/labor efficiency goals.
- Own market-level financial performance, including labor budget, staffing plans, contractor/vendor spend, and capital requests; review and approve decisions with cross-facility financial impact.
- Lead multi-site strategic and capacity planning — volume forecasting, resource allocation, and continuous process improvement initiatives — translating company-wide goals into localized site plans.
- Directly manage, coach, and develop the Operations Manager(s) and facility leadership, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and succession planning; serve as the escalation point for complex operational, personnel, or safety issues.
- Own market-wide safety program governance, setting the standards and policies that facility teams execute against, with ultimate accountability for OSHA compliance across the market.
- Represent the LA market to the Regional Director, executive leadership, and external stakeholders; lead negotiation and management of major vendor, supplier, and 3PL relationships at the market level.
- Standardize and govern SOPs across all LA facilities to ensure consistency for shared functions, while empowering facility-level leaders to adapt execution to local needs.
- Lead market-wide workforce planning, including headcount approvals, shift structure, and labor compliance, partnering with HR on organizational design as the market scales.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Finance, HR, Real Estate, and other business partners on initiatives affecting the LA market.
- **Lead and oversee 80+ associates** across warehouse and logistics functions throughout all Los Angeles market facilities.
- **Provide leadership and direction to the market’s management team**, including Operations Manager(s) and, as applicable, Delivery/Logistics Manager(s) and Warehouse Manager(s) at facilities without an Operations Manager.
