## Description

**VIANEX S.A.**, the leading Greek pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire an **R&D Formulation Manager** for its state-of-the-art **R&D Center, based in Patras**.

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing formulation development activities for generic pharmaceutical products across different dosage forms, from laboratory-scale development through scale-up and technology transfer.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Lead and oversee formulation development activities for generic pharmaceutical products across different dosage forms.
-   Design and develop robust formulations based on **QTPP, CQAs, target product characteristics and regulatory requirements**.
-   Plan, coordinate and supervise formulation development trials from laboratory scale through scale-up and technology transfer.
-   Lead formulation optimization activities and support the optimization of manufacturing process parameters.
-   Coordinate the preparation, review and maintenance of formulation development protocols, reports and records.
-   Ensure that formulation development activities are conducted in accordance with applicable **GMP requirements, ICH guidelines, pharmacopoeial requirements and internal procedures**.
-   Contribute to the continuous improvement of formulation development approaches, processes and laboratory practices.
-   Coordinate multiple formulation development projects, ensuring alignment with established timelines and development objectives.
-   Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the pharmaceutical development process.

**Qualifications & Experience**

-   **BSc or MSc Degree** in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
-   **5–7 years of relevant professional experience** in pharmaceutical formulation development, with proven experience in a similar position.
-   Proven experience in the development of **generic pharmaceutical products** and formulation optimization.
-   Experience with different pharmaceutical dosage forms, including **immediate-release, modified-release, oral solutions and ODTs**.
-   Proven experience in **scale-up, process optimization and technology transfer** from laboratory to manufacturing scale.
-   Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate multiple development projects within defined timelines.
-   Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
-   Good written and verbal communication skills in **English**.
