## Description

The Village Kids Coordinator ensures Village Kids classrooms and volunteers are well-equipped and supported to provide a welcoming, engaging environment for children and families. This includes coordinating classroom resources, communicating with volunteers, managing equipment, and providing Sunday support.

Working closely with the Family Ministries Associate, this role helps carry out the mission, vision, and strategy of Village Kids while recruiting, developing, and caring for the Family Ministries Volunteer Team.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Oversee classroom curriculum, activities, supplies, and resources to ensure Sunday environments are prepared and engaging.
-   Communicate weekly lesson details and expectations to volunteer teams.
-   Support Team Leads and Training Leads through ongoing development, encouragement, and team meetings.
-   Partner with the Family Ministries Administrative Associate to support volunteer onboarding, training, scheduling, and orientation.
-   Recruit, develop, disciple, and care for volunteers, ensuring they feel supported and appreciated.
-   Maintain Village Kids spaces, equipment, technology, and storage to ensure an excellent Sunday experience.
-   Keep volunteer and family information up to date in Village Connect.
-   Support the Leader in Training (LIT) program and contribute to Family Ministries communications, including the monthly newsletter.
-   Help ensure a welcoming and consistent experience for all children and families.
-   Contribute positively to team culture and uphold Village Church's Standard of Conduct.

### Work Week

-   16 hours per week
-   Sundays and Wednesdays (half-day flexibility may be available)
