# Village Kids Sunday Support

## Description

The Village Kids Sunday Support role plays an important part in creating a positive Sunday morning experience. Working alongside the Village Kids Program & Development Associate, you'll help prepare spaces, support volunteers, and ensure programs run smoothly so kids and families feel welcomed, known, and cared for.

This position is a contract, running until December 31, 2026.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Support the setup and teardown of Village Kids environments each Sunday.
-   Prepare classrooms and curriculum for volunteers.
-   Welcome, train, and encourage new volunteers, including helping with orientations and providing ongoing support.
-   Assist with Sunday morning programming by providing floor support and stepping into classrooms as needed.
-   Participate in Sunday team briefings and debriefs to help improve weekly operations.
-   Connect with Leaders in Training (LITs), mentors, and volunteers throughout the morning.
-   Regularly recognize and encourage volunteers for their service.
-   Model Village Church's values and standards in all interactions.

### Work Week

-   8 hours per week
-   Sundays 7hr, and 1hr weekday meeting

## Benefits

$19.62/ hour

3 weeks vacation (pro-rated)
