# Midweight Designer (6 month fixed term contract) - UK Hours

## Description

Our client in the UK is looking for a Midweight Designer to join their in-house marketing team and take real ownership of the brand across everything they put out into the world. 

This is an internal role, you'll be designing for the client themself. From social assets and pitch decks to research reports, events and brand collateral, you'll work closely with the Growth & Marketing Director and be the driving creative force behind how the company looks and feels across every touchpoint.   

### **What you'll do** 

-   Lead the design of social media graphics and assets for owned channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
-   Own and evolve their deck and presentation templates building polished, on-brand work at pace.
-   Drive the production of research reports and thought leadership content: layout, typography, data visualisation.
-   Take ownership of brand identity: developing templates, maintaining guidelines, and pushing visual language forward.
-   Create motion graphics and animations for social content.
-   Partner with the wider marketing team on campaigns and launches, often leading creative direction.

## Requirements

**Essential** 

-   2–4 years of design experience with a strong, varied portfolio.
-   Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
-   Confident working independently and managing your own briefs end-to-end.
-   A genuine understanding of social media culture and what great content looks like.
-   Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
-   Able to give and receive creative feedback constructively.

  
**Nice to have** 

-   Motion and animation skills (After Effects, Adobe Express or similar).
-   Experience designing for social platforms at scale.
-   Report, editorial or publication layout experience.
-   Previous agency or in-house brand experience.
