## Requirements

**Experience Required:**

-   Minimum **1 year of experience**
-   First-time travelers accepted
-   **Current and proficient Bone Density (DEXA) exam experience is a hard-stop requirement**
-   Position is for a **DEXA Technologist**, **not** a DEXA Technician
-   X-ray duties are **not** required

**License Required:**

-   **Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiography License**

**Certifications Required:**

-   **ARRT (R)**
-   **AHA BLS**

**First-timers accepted:** Yes

**Skills Required:**

-   Bone Density (DEXA) examinations
-   Bone mineral density (BMD) testing
-   Patient positioning for DEXA studies
-   Radiation safety
-   Image acquisition and quality assurance
-   Epic EMR documentation
