Registered Nurse (Travel) - Long-Term Care - Danbury, NC  
  
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (Long-Term Care) for a long-term care facility in Danbury, NC.  
  
Contract details  
\- Weekly pay: $2,237/wk  
\- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)  
\- Shift: Evening (5x8 Hours) 15:00 23:00  
\- Duration: 13 weeks  
\- Start date: 11/9/2026  
\- Openings: 1  
  
About the assignment  
\- Ratios around 1:40; unit acuity is very low  
\- Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years  
\- Traveler Experience required: Unit will accept 1st time traveler as long as they have skilled experience.  
\- Skills: nursing home care, vital sign and peripheral pulse assessment, blood glucose monitoring, diabetes care and insulin administration  
\- Certs: BLS  
\- Skills: skilled/rehabilitation setting, nephrostomy tube, suprapubic catheter, central line (PICC) and peripheral line care, Alzheimer's/dementia and stroke care  
\- Overtime: 40 total hours in 1 week: 1%  
  
Requirements  
\- Active RN license for NC (compact accepted where applicable) and the Long-Term Care specialty  
\- 2+ years of recent Long-Term Care experience  
\- BLS
