Registered Nurse (Travel) - NICU - Apple Valley, CA  
  
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (NICU) for an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA.  
  
Contract details  
\- Weekly pay: $3,480/wk  
\- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,505/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)  
\- Shift: Night (4x12 hours) 18:00-6:30  
\- Duration: 13 weeks (13-26 weeks available)  
\- Start date: 11/3/2026  
\- Openings: 1  
  
About the assignment  
\- Level III NICU, about 190 births per month; charge NICU RN role  
\- May float to Mother/Baby for babies (fully if couplet experience)  
\- No on-call; weekends every other, may exceed to meet unit needs  
\- No block scheduling; all RTO must be included at submission  
\- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks  
\- Acute care hospital (212 beds); Epic charting; free parking  
\- Scrubs: navy blue  
  
Requirements  
\- Active California RN license  
\- 2+ years of RN experience, including 1+ year of recent NICU experience  
\- BLS, NRP and PALS
