**Duration:** 8 hours (some 4-hour shifts)

**Experience:** 1 year of LPN experience (long-term care preferred)

**License:** Active and unencumbered Maryland LPN or compact license

**Certifications:** BLS

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

-   Administer medications and treatments to assigned residents under RN/physician direction
-   Monitor vital signs and resident condition and report changes to the charge nurse
-   Perform treatments such as wound care, catheter care and glucose monitoring
-   Document care accurately and support GNAs/CNAs on the unit

## Requirements

-   Must have 1 year of LPN experience, long-term care or sub-acute preferred
-   Active and unencumbered Maryland LPN or compact license
-   Active BLS Certification (AHA only)
-   Negative TB within last 12 months
-   Hep B Series or Titer
-   MMR Series or Titer
-   Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
-   Varicella Series or Titer
