Duties and Responsibilities:

**Execute Care Plans:** Carry out targeted therapeutic exercises, stretching, and mobility routines created by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT).

**Gait & Mobility Training:** Guide patients through walking, stairs, and weight-bearing exercises using assistive devices like walkers, canes, or crutches.

**Hands-on Interventions:** Provide manual therapy, soft tissue massage, joint mobilization (as state scope allows), and passive range-of-motion exercises.

**Administer Modalities:** Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation (E-stem), hot/cold packs, and traction to manage pain and swelling.

**Track & Report Progress:** Measure patient response, range of motion, and endurance, documenting updates and notifying the supervising PT when plans need adjustment.

**Patient & Family Education:** Teach patients proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and safe techniques for transferring out of beds or chairs.

## Requirements

2 years of experience

Active NH PTA License

BLS (AHA)
