### Responsibilities

-   Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
-   Operate steam sterilizers, low-temperature sterilizers, and other sterilization equipment.
-   Prepare instrument trays according to physician preference cards and surgical schedules.
-   Perform quality assurance checks to ensure proper sterilization and instrument functionality.
-   Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
-   Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
-   Collaborate with operating room staff and other departments to support surgical services.
-   Maintain inventory and assist with stocking sterile supplies.
