Registered Nurse (Travel) - Labor and Delivery - Plainview, TX

VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery) for an acute care hospital in Plainview, TX.

Contract details

\- Weekly pay: $2,254/wk

\- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

\- Shift: Evening (3x12 Hours) 15:00 3:30

\- Duration: 13 weeks

\- Start date: 11/30/2026

\- Openings: 1

About the assignment

\- Rural hospital (49 beds, Level IV trauma); often one L&D nurse per shift with charge nurse or on-call backup

\- Manages labor patients plus OB triage and outpatient OB; assists with postpartum and nursery as needed

\- No floating to other units required

\- Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; no on-call

\- First-time travelers accepted

\- Dress code: navy blue scrubs

\- Free parking

Requirements

\- Active Texas RN license (compact accepted)

\- Recent independent Labor and Delivery experience

\- BLS, ACLS and NRP
