**Shift:** Days 6:45AM–7:15PM CT; Mid 10:45AM–11:15PM CT; Nights 6:45PM–7:15AM CT (orientation shifts Days 7:30AM–5:00PM CT)

**Duration:** 12 hours

**Experience:** 1+ year of Emergency Department RN experience

**License:** Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or compact license

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

-   Rapidly assess, triage and prioritize patients based on acuity using emergency nursing protocols
-   Provide emergency nursing care, including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring and trauma response
-   Collaborate with physicians and the care team on rapid interventions, codes and patient stabilization
-   Accurately document care and follow infection control, patient safety and throughput protocols

## Requirements

-   Must have 1+ year of Emergency Department RN experience
-   Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or compact license
-   Active BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
-   Negative TB within last 12 months
-   Hep B Series or Titer
-   MMR Series or Titer
-   Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
-   Varicella Series or Titer
