Registered Nurse (Travel) - PCU - Lubbock, TX

VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (PCU) for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, TX.

Contract details

\- Weekly pay: $2,151/wk

\- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

\- Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00

\- Duration: 13 weeks

\- Start date: 11/16/2026

\- Openings: 4

About the assignment

\- Progressive care unit with all-telemetry patients; ratio 1:3-1:4

\- Floating between units required

\- Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

\- No on-call; no block scheduling

\- First-time travelers accepted

\- Short-term acute care, Level II trauma center (379 beds)

\- Dress code: solid navy blue scrubs

\- Free parking

Requirements

\- Active Texas RN license (compact accepted)

\- 1+ year of recent PCU/telemetry experience

\- BLS and ACLS
