**JOB PURPOSE**

Evaluate and manage the HSSE performance in the line of business requirements and monitor the implementation of the HSSE MS, to improve and achieve business targets.

**PRINCIPAL & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Reporting to the Supply and Distribution Manager, the role requires a self-starter whose main responsibilities include:

-   Manage the RT, ERP and Crisis Management Plans, supporting the Company HSSE Manager in its testing and execution.
-   Develop fit for purpose Emergency Response Plans for all Road Transport and Depot Operations and plan its testing and execution.
-   Assist the contractors to develop and manage a fit for purpose HSSE Management System and implement it and preparation of the legal register.
-   Monitor the implementation of Group Standards.
-   Support depot team in developing and maintaining the HSSE aspects of the depot operating procedures.
-   Play a leading role in reporting, investigations and report writing for all incidents in the line of business and keep a Remedial Action Plan tracking system.

## Requirements

**HSSE**

Job Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

-   NQF Level 7 (Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field)
-   3+ Years post qualification relevant work experience

-   Sound knowledge of Road Transport Operations and Depot Operations.
-   Understanding of HSSE Issues and Practices
-   A demonstrated ability in managing change and relationship with people, especially Government bodies and other key stakeholders.
-   Professional training in process safety and risk management will be an added advantage
-   Valid Driver's License
