The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of People Operations, Global Delivery Leads, operational leadership, project teams, and executive leadership to support employees, workforce initiatives, and business operations.

### Position Summary

Volga Partners is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused People Operations Generalist (HR) to support our growing global workforce.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, employee support, workforce administration, and project coordination responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of People Operations and collaborate with recruiting teams, operational leaders, project stakeholders, and executive leadership to support employees and business initiatives across multiple regions.

This is a hands-on role designed for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to contribute wherever support is needed.

This is a true People Operations role that combines Human Resources, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition responsibilities. The successful candidate will support recruiting efforts while also assisting with onboarding, employee support, workforce administration, compliance initiatives, project launches, and operational coordination.

While this role supports a broad range of responsibilities, responsibilities will be introduced progressively over time based on business needs, training, demonstrated performance, and operational readiness.

### Growth & Scope of Responsibilities

This is a newly established role within the People Operations function.

The successful candidate will begin by supporting core Human Resources, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition functions and will gradually take on additional responsibilities as experience, knowledge, and business needs evolve.

This role is intended for someone who is eager to learn, grow professionally, and expand their impact within the organization.

Over time, opportunities may include increased involvement in employee relations, workforce planning, project launches, compliance initiatives, recruiting strategy, operational leadership support, and other People Operations functions.

While this role does not currently have direct reports, future growth opportunities may become available based on business needs, organizational growth, and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities  

### People Operations

-   Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation activities.
-   Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
-   Maintain employee records, documentation, and workforce data.
-   Support attendance tracking and workforce administration processes.
-   Assist with policy communication and process improvements.
-   Support HR reporting and operational tracking.
-   Partner with employees and managers to provide People Operations support.
-   Assist with employee communications and organizational initiatives.

### Employee Support & Employee Relations

-   Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
-   Gather information and documentation related to workplace matters.
-   Escalate concerns appropriately and in a timely manner.
-   Support fair and consistent application of company policies.
-   Assist with employee engagement initiatives and workforce communications.
-   Identify trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

### Payroll, Compliance & Administration

-   Support payroll preparation and workforce data validation activities.
-   Review attendance records and identify discrepancies.
-   Assist with compliance reviews and operational audits.
-   Support workforce reporting and documentation requirements.
-   Partner with Finance and Operations teams on administrative initiatives.
-   Assist with policy administration and compliance activities.

### Recruitment Operations & Talent Acquisition

-   Review resumes and candidate qualifications.
-   Conduct candidate screenings and initial interviews.
-   Coordinate candidate assessments and interview scheduling.
-   Support recruiting initiatives and workforce planning efforts.
-   Participate in job fairs, outreach efforts, and recruiting events.
-   Assist with sourcing and talent pipeline development.
-   Support candidate communications and overall candidate experience.
-   Assist with hiring initiatives across multiple departments and projects.

### Project Launches & Operational Initiatives

-   Support onboarding and staffing activities for new projects.
-   Assist with workforce readiness and launch planning.
-   Track action items, operational tasks, and project milestones.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution.
-   Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
-   Support workforce planning and readiness efforts for new business initiatives.

### Employer Branding, Outreach & Events

-   Coordinate job fairs, recruiting events, university partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
-   Support talent pipeline development activities.
-   Represent the company professionally during hiring and networking events.
-   Assist with employer branding and candidate engagement efforts.
-   Support strategic recruiting and community engagement initiatives.

### Cross-Functional Collaboration

This position works closely with the Director of People Operations, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Global Delivery Leads, Project Managers, Operations Teams, Finance Teams, and Executive Leadership, including the CEO.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

-   Communicate professionally with employees and leaders at all levels.
-   Identify concerns and escalate issues appropriately.
-   Support workforce initiatives across Pakistan and global operations.
-   Contribute ideas, recommendations, and process improvements.
-   Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational success.
-   Collaborate closely with the Director of People Operations, Global Delivery Leads, and executive leadership on workforce and operational initiatives.

## Requirements

### Required

-   Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
-   Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Workforce Administration, or a related field.
-   In lieu of a bachelor's degree, candidates with a minimum of eight (7) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Workforce Administration, or a related field may be considered.
-   Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
-   Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-   Strong technology aptitude and comfort learning new systems and tools.
-   Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.

### Preferred

-   Experience supporting multinational or global workforces.
-   Experience supporting both Human Resources and Recruiting functions.
-   Experience with compliance reviews, audits, workforce reporting, or policy administration.
-   Experience coordinating hiring initiatives, workforce programs, employee onboarding, or project launches.

### Work Schedule, Office Coverage & Availability

This position is based onsite in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Candidates may be assigned to one of the following schedules:

### Shift A

-   Onsite: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PKT

### Shift B

-   Onsite: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM PKT

Specific shift assignments will be determined based on business requirements and operational needs.

### Mandatory Daily People Operations Meeting

Regardless of shift assignment, all People Operations team members are required to attend a mandatory daily People Operations meeting.

Current Meeting Schedule

-   Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM PKT
-   Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM PKT

Attendance is considered an essential function of this role.

Please note that this meeting schedule follows U.S.-based operations. Team members are expected to maintain attendance based on the designated U.S. schedule regardless of daylight saving time changes. As a result, meeting times in Pakistan may shift periodically throughout the year.

### Schedule Flexibility

Volga Partners supports employees, clients, and operations across multiple countries and time zones.

While this position follows an assigned primary schedule, candidates should be comfortable providing occasional support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, or local holidays when business needs require.

### Holidays

This position follows the Pakistan holiday schedule.

Due to the global nature of our business, employees may occasionally be asked to provide support during local holidays or outside standard working hours based on operational needs.

This position is subject to an initial probationary period of ninety (90) days.

Depending on performance, business needs, and operational readiness, the probationary period may be extended at the Company's discretion.
