**Job Title:** Armed Safety Officer  
**Location:** Milton Montessori School

**Pay:** $19/hr-$21/hr

**About the Role:**  
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced **Armed Safety Officer** to provide a safe and secure environment at a private Montessori school serving **infant through elementary-aged students**. This role is critical in maintaining a calm, protected, and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and families.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Maintain a visible and proactive security presence on campus
-   Monitor school entry/exit points and control access to the facility
-   Ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors at all times
-   Respond quickly and effectively to any safety concerns or emergencies
-   Conduct routine patrols of the campus
-   Collaborate with school leadership and staff on safety protocols
-   De-escalate situations professionally and appropriately
-   Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required

**Requirements:**

-   **Must possess a valid and active Armed Security License (REQUIRED)**
-   Prior experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred
-   Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
-   Professional appearance and demeanor, especially in a school environment
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-   Ability to remain calm under pressure
-   Must pass background check and any required screenings

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   Experience working in a school or child-focused environment
-   CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
-   Strong conflict resolution skills
