### About the Role

We are looking for a skilled **Database Administrator (** **PostgreSQL)** to manage, maintain, and optimise PostgreSQL databases that support critical business applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, security, and high availability while ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

## Requirements

-   Strong experience with PostgreSQL Database Administration.
-   Excellent knowledge of SQL and query optimisation.
-   Experience with PostgreSQL backup and recovery tools.
-   Hands-on experience with replication, clustering, and high availability.
-   Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
-   Experience with performance tuning and database monitoring.
-   Understanding of database security best practices.
-   Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) and automation.
-   Experience with version control tools such as Git is an advantage.  
      
    
-   Qualifications

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
-   PostgreSQL certification is a plus.
