**About the Role**

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on **Band Saw Operator / Storeperson** to join our Palmerston North warehouse on a **6-month fixed-term contract, with an immediate start available.**

This is a **Monday to Friday role,** with working hours between 6:00am and 5:00pm, depending on operational needs.

_**What you’ll be doing**_

-   Operate **band saws t**o cut steel to specification
-   Use **forklifts and crane**s to move materials safely
-   Pick, pack and prepare customer orders
-   Complete stock receipting and dispatch documentation
-   Perform quality checks (dimensions, quantities, product condition)
-   Maintain warehouse organisation and safety standards

## Requirements

-   **Band saw / metal cutting experience (essential)**
-   Experience working with steel or stainless steel products
-   Proven warehouse experience – picking, packing, dispatch, receipting
-   Ability to read cutting lists, job sheets & measurements accurately
-   Forklift licence and experience (F endorsement highly preferred)
-   Experience with overhead/gantry cranes (advantage)
-   Basic computer skills (packing slips, stock systems)
