**About the Role**

We are looking for a hands-on **Saw Operator / Warehouse Storeperson** to join our stainless warehouse.

This is a **full-time, permanent** role working **Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm**.

You’ll be mainly focused on picking, packing, stock handling, and **preparing stainless steel orders, with saw operation also forming a key part of the role.**

Previous saw experience is preferred, but we will also consider someone **with good mechanical aptitude** who is keen to learn.

W_**hat you’ll be doing**_

-   Pick, pack, label, and prepare stainless steel orders
-   Operate engineering bandsaws to cut steel to size
-   Read work orders, cutting lists, and measurements
-   Receive stock and generate packing slips
-   Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move steel safely
-   Check product quality, quantities, and measurements
-   Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
-   Support general warehouse duties as required
-   Follow health and safety procedures, including PPE

## Requirements

-   Bandsaw, saw, machine operation, or mechanical aptitude
-   Steel, stainless steel, engineering, or metal product experience preferred
-   Warehouse experience: picking, packing, dispatch, or stock receipting
-   Forklift experience; overhead or gantry crane experience is an advantage
-   Ability to read work orders, cutting lists, measurements, or job sheets
-   Basic computer skills for packing slips, stock, or dispatch
-   Physically fit, reliable, safety-focused, and open to overtime when required
