**Role Summary**

The Team Lead provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to a team of Accounting Specialists. This role ensures schedules are clean, reconciled, and maintained in accordance with WarrCloud standards. The Team Lead supports dealer onboarding, resolves escalations, and partners closely with internal teams to uphold accuracy, consistency, and the WarrCloud Way. They maintain light schedule coverage to stay grounded in the work while serving as the first escalation point for their team.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Team Leadership & Oversight**

-   Oversee Accounting Specialists and their assigned dealers.
-   Conduct regular 1:1 meetings focused on performance, capacity, and development.
-   Monitor schedule compliance, reconciliation progress, and workload distribution.
-   Maintain light schedule coverage (approx. 5 accounts) to stay grounded in the work.
-   Provide coaching on accounting workflows and best practices for reconciliation.
-   Support Specialists with account issues, escalations, and process questions.

**Schedule Management & Quality Control**

-   Ensure Specialists maintain clean, accurate accounting schedules.
-   Review reconciliation work and identify discrepancies or processing gaps.
-   Support Specialists with posting credit memos, JV processes, timelines, and backlog cleanup.
-   Reinforce adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, and best practices.
-   Partner with Lead Admins and CS teams to improve schedule hygiene and resolve issues.

**Cross‑Functional Collaboration**

-   Partner with Service Delivery OEM Lead Warranty Specialists and Customer Success teams to improve schedule hygiene and resolve issues.
-   Identify and escalate schedule concerns properly and quickly.
-   Collaborate with the Training Team and Director to onboard new Accounting Specialists

**Training & Development**

-   Coordinate and deliver training for new Accounting Specialists, including:

-   WarrSchedule
-   OEM‑specific procedures
-   DMS workflows

-   Support ongoing skill development and reinforce standards.
-   Contribute to the Accounting Resource Center with updated processes and resources.

**Operational Excellence**

-   Ensure adherence to SOPs, workflows, and reconciliation standards.
-   Identify gaps or inconsistencies and recommend improvements.
-   Support the Leader in implementing new tools, processes, and reporting.
-   Assist with work schedule planning and capacity management.

Strong Team Leads allow the Director to stay focused on strategy and cross‑functional alignment while ensuring the team delivers reliable, high‑quality work every week.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   3+ years of experience in warranty operations, dealership accounting, or related automotive roles.
-   Strong understanding of OEM/DMS workflows and schedule reconciliation.
-   Demonstrated ability to coach and support others.
-   Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
-   Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with schedule coverage.
-   High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency.
-   Proficiency with Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and accounting systems.
-   Comfort using the WarrCloud Platform, DMS systems, and OEM software.
