We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer with a strong background in AI + real-time audio to join our engineering team in China. You will play a key role in building and optimizing communication features that power high-quality, low-latency conversations for our global customers.

**Responsibility**

-   Design, develop, and optimize real-time audio/video streaming services.
-   Work with protocols such as WebRTC, SIP, RTP, or related technologies.
-   Ensure high performance, low latency, and fault-tolerant communication pipelines.
-   Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
-   Write clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to media services.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-   2–4 years of backend development experience, ideally in real-time communications (RTC).
-   Proficiency in Go or Python.
-   Experience with audio/video codecs, streaming protocols, and media servers.
-   Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and distributed systems.
-   Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.  
    

**Bonus Points**

-   Experience with WebRTC-based platforms.
-   Experience with AI agents and voice LLM
-   Knowledge of scaling media services for large user bases.
-   Contributions to open-source RTC projects.
