## Description

The EHS Manager will lead all site environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance while creating a proactive, prevention-focused safety culture. This individual will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and Materials Management to reduce risk, improve EHS performance, and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

-   Lead all site EHS programs, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-   Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and federal, state, and local regulations.
-   Manage and improve EHS systems, including alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
-   Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
-   Lead accident, injury, environmental incident, and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
-   Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, managers, and contractors.
-   Manage environmental programs covering waste, air emissions, chemicals, spill prevention, and water discharge.
-   Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and preparedness activities.
-   Maintain EHS permits, records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
-   Track EHS metrics and trends to identify risks and improve performance.
-   Partner with Engineering and Operations on new equipment, process changes, and capital projects.
-   Support regulatory inspections, customer assessments, insurance audits, and corporate EHS reviews.
-   Promote employee engagement and a strong culture of safety, accountability, and environmental responsibility.

## Requirements

Qualifications

-   Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
-   Proven EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
-   Experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, or automotive manufacturing is highly desirable.
-   Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and environmental regulations.
-   Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 preferred.
-   Demonstrated experience with audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and EHS training.
-   Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to influence employees and leaders across a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
-   CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar professional certification is desirable.

## Benefits

**Base Salary:** $110,000–$120,000 per year, negotiable based on experience
