### About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible **Audit & Accounts Assistant** to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of accounting processes, audit procedures, reconciliations, GST, and TDS compliance. Candidates with prior experience in **healthcare, skin clinics, dermatology clinics, cosmetics, or related industries** will be preferred.

The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in financial records, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording, reviewing, and maintaining financial transactions.
-   Support internal and external **audit** activities by preparing required documents, schedules, reports, and supporting records.
-   Perform regular **bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and account reconciliations** and investigate discrepancies.
-   Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts and ensuring transactions are properly recorded and classified.
-   Support the preparation and verification of invoices, vouchers, bills, receipts, and other financial documents.
-   Assist with **GST-related activities**, including maintaining GST records, checking invoices, and supporting GST return preparation and compliance.
-   Assist with **TDS calculations, deductions, documentation, and compliance** as required.
-   Coordinate with relevant teams to collect financial information and supporting documents for audits and statutory requirements.
-   Verify accounting entries and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial records.
-   Maintain organized documentation and records for accounting, audit, GST, and TDS purposes.
-   Assist senior accounting team members with monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
-   Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
-   Perform other accounting and audit-related tasks as assigned by the management.

### Must-Have Skills

-   **Audit:** Basic to practical knowledge of audit processes and documentation.
-   **Reconciliation:** Strong understanding of bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
-   **TDS & GST:** Working knowledge of TDS and GST concepts, compliance, and documentation.
-   Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
-   Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
-   Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.

### Good-to-Have Skills

-   Good **English communication skills**, both written and verbal.
-   Prior experience in a **healthcare, skin clinic, dermatology clinic, cosmetics, or similar industry**.
-   Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with the finance and operations teams.
-   Strong organizational and time-management skills.

### Qualification & Experience

-   **B.Com / M.Com** from a recognized institution.
-   **1–2 years of relevant experience** in accounting, audit, taxation, or finance.
-   Candidates with hands-on exposure to **GST, TDS, reconciliation, and audit support** will be preferred.
